Invite users to the instance
Email invitations are only required when you are using Allure TestOps local accounts.
Once you have a project, invite one or two teammates who do not yet have accounts so you can explore launches and review together.
If the person already has an account and only needs access to one project, use Add collaborators to a project instead.
Before you start
- Only users with the global Administrator role can invite people to the instance.
- If you use local accounts (the ones managed in Allure TestOps), make sure email invitations are possible.
- For Server deployments, SMTP should be configured before you rely on invitation emails.
- Decide whether the person should be an Admin, User, or Guest.
Steps
- Go to Administration → Members.
- Click Invite people.
- Add one or more email addresses.
- Choose the global role to assign after registration.
- Send invites.
What happens next
- The invite appears on the Invites tab until the person completes registration.
- If the link expires, you can resend the invitation.
- After the account exists, add the person to the project.
