Administration
Administration section contains all the organization wide settings of Allure TestOps.
You need to have role ROLE_ADMIN
assigned to you to be able to access the Administration section.
Administration overview
To go to the Administration section, in the breadcrumb navigation, click All projects (if the Allure TestOps start page is open) or the project name (if its section is open) and select the corresponding menu item.
Below in the table you will find the brief description of each item in the settings.
Item | Description |
---|---|
Members | Area where you manage Allure TestOps users. You can invite, deactivate, and assign roles here. |
Groups | Area where you manage user groups to provide easier access to projects on group level instead of user level |
Roles | Place were you define roles of the project members related to test cases, e.g. Owner [of a test case], Reviewer [of a test case] |
Global permissions | Area to define global permissions like e.g. who is allowed to create projects |
Statuses | Here you define global statuses of tests life cycle (draft, review, active, or outdated, etc.) |
Workflow | Defines possible transitions between Statuses, e.g. Active -> Outdated for automated tests. |
Test layer | Defines global Test layers to be used for mapping in projects. e.g. UI Tests, or API Tests |
Custom fields | Defines the global custom fields to be used for mapping in projects, e.g. Feature, Story, Suite |
Environment | Defines the global Environments labels to be used for mapping in projects, e.g. Host, Browser, Branch |
Error categories | Defines global Errors categories and rules to match these categories in the test results. |
Integrations | Area to enable system-wide integration with third-party solutions like CI servers, Issue trackers, TMSs |
Clean up policies | Defines the rules for the deletion of test results artifacts like attachments, scenarios and fixtures. |
License | Allure TestOps administrators manage licenses of Subscription for SaaS instances here. |
Permission Sets | Here, you can create and manage roles for Projects access by adding sets of permissions. |
