Allure TestOps - Creation of test cases

Create Test Case

Allure TestOps supports managing manual and automated test cases.

Based on the data, Allure TestOps creates test case reports that contain information about test case status, test scenario and test case settings.

To start working with test cases, open the required project and go to the Test cases section.

Add a manual test case

  1. In the required project, go to the Test cases section.

  2. In the Add a new test case text box, type the test case name and press Enter.

  3. To change the test case name, select it from the list, click Edit and submit changes.

    If you cannot see the Add a new test case text box, click the Lock tree button to unlock the feature.

The new test case follows current workflow.

By default, manual test cases follow Default Manual workflow and have Draft as a first status.

You can create a customized workflow .

Add an automated test case

  1. Configure Allure TestOps integration with a CI tool.

  2. Import an automated test case into Allure TestOps.

  3. In the required project, go to the Test cases section.

The new test case follows current workflow.

By default, automated test cases follow Default Automatic workflow and have Active as a first status.

You can create a customized workflow .
