Allure TestOps plug-in installation for Redmine

Prerequisites

  1. You need to have your Redmine Server up and running.
  2. You need to have administrator’s privileges for your Redmine.
  3. You need to have Allure TestOps administrator account.
  4. You need to have performed the integration steps:
    1. Credentials for Redmine are created in Allure TestOps.
    2. Issue tracker with redmine type is created in Allure TestOps.
    3. Connection test passes successfully.

Plug-in installation

  1. Download the archived Allure TestOps plug-in for Redmine.
  2. Create folder allure_testops under $REDMINE/plugins/
    • so the final path will be $REDMINE/plugins/allure_testops
  3. Extract the content of the archive to $REDMINE/plugins/allure_testops folder.
  4. Restart your Redmine server.

Plug-in configuration

  1. In the Redmine’s main UI go to the Administration > Plugins.

  2. For Allure TestOps plug-in select Configure.

  3. In the configuration of the plug-in fill in 2 parameters:

    1. Allure Endpoint - is the URL of your Allure TestOps instance.
    2. Issue tracker key - is the ID of Redmine issue tracker in Allure TestOps’ configuration.

  4. Save the configuration

After Allure TestOps plug-in is added and configured you will see the following form in your issues in Redmine issue tracker:

You need to provide your username and password into the forms. After the credentials are provided and authentication succeeded, you can link test cases and Launched to your Redmine issues.

How to enable Allure TestOps plug-in on a project level

  1. In a project jump to its settings

  2. Check Allure TestOps option in the modules selection.
