Allure TestOps - Dashboards

Dashboards

Dashboards in Allure TestOps contain sets of widgets. Widgets present data about test cases graphically.

In the required project, go to the Dashboards section. On the Overview tab you will see five widgets with the basic information about the current project.

  • Test cases diagram shows the total number of test cases in the project grouped by status of the workflow they follow.

  • Automation diagram shows the number and percentage of automated and manual test cases in the project.

  • Launches graph shows information about the launches with passed, skipped, failed and broken test cases.

  • Automation trend graph shows the number of manual and automated test cases and their total execution time.

  • Mute trend graph shows the number of muted test cases in the project.

You can also create and configure a new dashboard.

Create dashboard

  1. In the Allure TestOps Dashboard section, click the New dashboard button. Specify the Name for the new dashboard. The new dashboard will appear on the screen.

  2. To edit or delete dashboard, select Edit dashboard or Delete dashboard in the Dashboard actions drop-down menu.

  3. To enable full screen mode, click Fullscreen mode in the Dashboard actions drop-down men. It can be useful for displaying the presentation. To exit from the full screen mode, press Esc.

Add widget on dashboard

  1. To add widget on the dashboard, click the Add widget button in the Dashboard actions drop-down menu.

  2. Specify the Name of the widget and select Type from the drop-down menu.

    • Markdown

      Type markdown formatted text in the Content box to create a widget with text information.

    • Launch Analytics

      Select the Metric from the drop-down menu to add one of standard widgets from Analytics section .

    • Launch Statistic Trend

      Select this type to create a chart that shows the total number of passed, skipped, failed and broken test cases.

    • Test Case Pie Chart

      Select By automation from the Group By drop-down menu to create a chart that shows the number of automated and manual test cases, or By status to create a chart with test cases grouped by the status of workflow they follow.

    • Automation Trend

      Select this type to create a chart that shows the number of automated and manual launches of test cases.

  3. You can restrict test case area for the widget by specifying Test cases query and Launches query. Use Request Query Language to do this.

  4. Click Submit. The created widget will appear on the current dashboard.

To change the position of widgets on the dashboard, use drag-and-drop method. You can also resize the widget by dragging its lower-right corner.

To edit, clone or delete widget, select the appropriate action in the Widget menu.
